1. Planning

Before any reforestation is executed, tree species, planting methods, and soil must be studied according to the site.

2. Deployment

Trovador is transported to the site with the corresponding saplings and battery charger to be deployed.

3. Monitoring

The plantation is monitored short and long-term, to achieve the highest plantation success.

Why not using drones to do reforestation?

Aerial methods, restricted to using seeds rather than saplings, typically achieve a survival rate of just 8% to 20%. In the world there is a gap of 1.7 billion seedlings between demand and production, making every seed count.

This means that you end up paying 3 times more than manual planting in the long run to compensate for the lost.

Does Trovador plant the trees it self?

Yes. Trovador has a planting protocol, in which it measures the humidity of the soil, drills the hole, plants the tree, and stomps the root collar, autonomously.

What is the endurance?

Due to early TRL stages, we cannot provide exact numbers. However, depending on the terrain and location, we ESTIMATE the robot will last up to one hour planting.
For this reason we are developing a portable solar-powered charger, to minimize down time.

Do you sell the machines?

Answer is defined upon current TRL. We are currently focused on selling reforestation services.
